Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full time Department: Operations The Role The client is looking for a smart, highly organized, and relentlessly reliable Recruiting Coordinator to help scale their team. The Recruiting Coordinator will own the day-to-day candidate experience and recruiting coordination, working closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep the hiring pipeline moving quickly and smoothly. This is a high-agency role where speed, judgment, and follow-through matter. What the Recruiting Coordinator Will Do Own interview scheduling and candidate logistics from initial interview through offer Communicate directly with candidates and ensure a seamless candidate experience Keep the hiring pipeline moving and make sure next steps happen quickly Keep Ashby and other recruiting systems accurate and up to date Ensure interview feedback is submitted promptly Help recruiters and hiring managers stay organized and on track Improve and automate recruiting workflows as the company scales Take ownership of whatever needs to get done to keep hiring moving What the Client Is Looking For Smart and quick to learn: picks up new concepts and systems quickly and figures things out independently Fast and highly reliable: moves with urgency and follows through Extremely organized: can manage many moving pieces without dropping details Excellent communicator: clear, concise, polished, and personable High-agency and proactive: sees what needs to happen and makes it happen What the Recruiting Coordinator Will Gain Hands-on exposure to recruiting and sourcing alongside experienced recruiters Real ownership: help build candidate pipelines and improve how the client recruits as it scales Broad exposure: recruit across engineering, product, sales, and other functions at a rapidly growing AI startup Room to grow: develop toward recruiting, sourcing, or recruiting operations roles as the candidate takes on more responsibility Experience Prior recruiting coordination or recruiting operations experience is preferred, but not required. The client is open to exceptional early-career candidates who are smart, organized, fast, and highly reliable.
