Embassy Veterinary Center on Emory Road is looking for an energetic, dependable, and animal-loving Kennel & Daycare Assistant to join our team.
No experience? No problem — we'll train you! Veterinary, kennel, or dog daycare experience is a plus, but we're much more interested in your attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
What You'll Do
You'll help care for our boarding and daycare pets while keeping their environment clean, safe, and fun.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising and interacting with dogs in daycare
Managing safe group play and recognizing when dogs need breaks
Walking, exercising, and providing enrichment for boarding pets
Feeding pets and providing fresh water
Caring for cats and other boarding animals
Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, daycare areas, and common spaces
Monitoring pets for changes in behavior or health
Administering medications as directed
Taking photos and providing updates for boarding clients
Working with the veterinary and client service teams
What We're Looking For - We want someone who is:
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and personalities
Energetic and able to stay active throughout the day
Comfortable with cleaning and getting a little messy
Patient and compassionate with animals
A team player who communicates well
Willing to learn and take direction
You don't need to know everything on day one. We'll teach you the rest.
